Botball Educational Robotics Program

Botball teams design, build, and program two fully autonomous robots to complete an annual game without remote control. The 2026 Stack Attack game models warehouse logistics; students program in C using the KIPR robotics platform and combine controllers, sensors, motors, servos, LEGO-compatible parts, metal parts, and an iRobot Create. Teams also maintain online engineering documentation that contributes to their regional score. A typical season provides roughly 7–9 weeks to build before spring regional tournaments, with qualifying teams able to continue to the summer Global Conference on Educational Robotics.
